LEMCON TO BUILD NEW MULTI-ASSEMBLY UNIT FOR CARGOTEC IN POLAND

Lemminkäinen Group's Lemcon Ltd has made an agreement on the project management
contract for Cargotec's new multi-assembly unit (MAU) in Poland. The client is
Cargotec Poland Sp. z.o.o. The MAU is being built in the county of Stargard
Szczecinski, about 50 kilometres from Szczecin in Northern Poland.

The total value of the project for Lemcon is approx. EUR 22 million, which
includes design and consulting services during the preliminary phase. The
timetable is very tight, with production scheduled for phased start-up in the
first half of 2010. Work began in June 2009 and will be totally completed in
June 2010.

Lemcon has been operating in Poland since 1996, focusing on the realisation of
office, industrial and logistics centre projects of international investors.
"The project fits in well with the company's strategy of implementing the
foreign investment projects of Finnish industrial companies," says Klaus
Tervilä, Lemcon's Senior Vice President, International Operations.
