Lemminkäinen Group's Tekmanni Service Oy has assumed responsibility for
servicing the technical building systems of the Sokos hotels in St. Petersburg.
Two new Sokos hotels and the Holiday Club spa hotel are under construction in
St. Petersburg. Tekmanni Service Oy will carry out the scheduled servicing and
necessary repair work on these hotels' technical building systems, e.g. HVAC-E,
building automation, fire detection and sprinkler systems.
- Tekmanni Service's strength lies in the comprehensive coverage of its
expertise in technical building systems. Our service network spans the whole of
Finland. Now we are taking the Finnish concept of preventative maintenance to
Russia. Our technical experts are training Russian technicians and fitters in
Finland. We are also committed, if necessary, to develop and expand our
operations in partnership with the client, SOK Real Estate, says Key Account
Manager Mikko Aalto.
The three hotels under construction have almost 900 rooms altogether. The hotels
are centrally located in downtown St. Petersburg. Sokos Hotel Olympic Garden
will open in late 2007 and Sokos Hotel in the early months of 2008. The guest
accommodation of the third hotel under construction, Holiday Club St.
Petersburg, will open to the public towards the end of this year and the spa
facilities in the spring of 2008.
