In this issue:

p. 4: Mikko Pukkinen, Director General of the Confederation of Finnish Industries (EK), seeks to strenghten Finland´s competitiveness and economy. He believes that it´s necessary to overhaul both the Ostrobothnia railway line and Highway E18 and to keep traffic brisk on the Stockholm-St Petersburg route.

p. 6: Finland is full of important and beautiful buildings that must be used, modernised and maintained - otherwise they will fall into disrepair. Maintaining value is the top priority, but sustainable development and energy savings must also be taken into consideration, without neglecting safety.

p. 8: The Kevitsa mine creates jobs and tax revenues, providing a boost to the municipality of Sodankylä and all of Lapland. It´s the most extensive Arctic construction site in Finlad. Nickel and copper mining will commence once it´s completed in the autumn. Until then, the site will keep 240 workers and more than 100 machines busy.

p. 10: The maintenance agreement we´ve made with Stockmann in St Petersburg is unusual in many ways.
