The current year has been a good one for Lemminkäinen. The Group’s housing production is growing, and increased commercial construction and the favourable development of operations abroad have boosted the company’s net sales and earnings.

The result for the 2006 accounting period is expected to be clearly better than last year, and the company’s strong order book provides a good starting point for 2007.

The Group’s housing production is growing and the favourable development of Lemminkäinen’s international operations in established as well as new market areas create good conditions for net sales and order book growth. The full-year result is expected to be better than last year.

Lemminkäinen’s outlook for the year ahead is good. The Group’s housing production is growing and major infrastructure projects will provide work in the coming years. The favourable development of Lemminkäinen’s international business is expected to continue in existing as well as new market areas. With an order book almost 30 % higher than last year, the prerequisites for net sales growth and improved earnings are in place for 2006.
