Lemminkäinen is a Finnish construction company that was established in 1910. The present-day Group operates internationally in all areas of the construction sector.
Since 1.1.2008, Lemminkäinen Group’s operations have been organised into four business sectors: building construction, infrastructure construction, technical building services and building products.
Lemminkäinen’s main markets are in the Baltic Rim region, where the Group has established a presence by setting up local subsidiaries We also serve clients all over the world in specialised areas of construction.
Lemminkäinen Group’s net sales in 2007 were EUR 2.2 billion, of which international operations accounted for a full quarter. The Group employs some 9,200 people, a quarter of whom work abroad. The shares of the parent company, Lemminkäinen Corporation, have been listed on OMX Nordic Exchange Helsinki since 1989.
