Our operations in India began in 2006 in response to the rapidly growing Indian economy and increasing foreign direct investments in the country. Today, our operations are handled through our subsidiary company Lemminkäinen Construction (India) Pvt. Ltd., with an office in Chennai.
We are focusing mainly on industrial, commercial and office projects for foreign multinational companies, particularly in the Chennai area in Tamil Nadu. Our main specialization is fast track implementation of various types of production facilities. Our operations have also gradually expanded to other areas in India.
Our service includes custom, pre-construction phase consultancy services, construction management services, management contracting as well as design & build contracting.
Among our key clients in India are global companies, such as Nokia Siemens Networks, Nokia and Perlos.
