In life-cycle contracting, the maintenance of buildings, equipment, and infrastructure can be distributed over several years. Servicing and maintenance costs can be managed in a pre-arranged way, as servicing and maintenance costs will be agreed on at the outset of the project (for instance, for a period of 20 years). In a life-cycle project, the aim is to find the optimal level for construction costs and servicing and for maintenance costs, so that the total costs to the client are as low as possible. As we are responsible for the servicing and maintenance, the client does not need to attend to the maintenance of the building or prepare for repair costs. We also take responsibility for the building’s energy efficiency and optimisation of energy costs.
